Hi. When you do a dictionary attack with rules, the -s value represents the words in the dictionary or the equivalent in the keyspace including the words mangled with rules?

I thought -s only is for use in bruteforce?

No, it does work on hybrid attack and I think that the answer is the equivalent in the keyspace but I would like a confirmation of this.

in -a0 (with or without rules), -a1 and -a6 where the dictionary is used as base it's correct, I can confirm. Oh, there is an exception for oversized lines.
