Hi,
im running HD 5970 and im getting this error when im try gpu calculation
ADL_Overdriver5_temperature_get :-5
i have installed latest driver but still getting same error.. one think i can remember ..that i installed same driver 2time in same pc.
plz help me

most people say you do not have installed your drivers correctly / some leftovers from old drivers. i had the same error till i updated gpu bios to bios from different brand. if you do it, do at your own risk
otherwise you can disable the checks with --gpu-watchdog 0

can u plz suggest me what should i do
update gpu bios
or
disable gpu watchdog 0 (I don’t know how to do it)
I dont want to damage my cards. coz im not expert on it
or any one plz give me a working driver uninstall software link. that i can uninstall driver and start again.

"--gpu-watchdog 0" is the flag to disable the watchdog.
Just add it to the command line and the error should be gone.

I would highly advise not using --gpu-watchdog 0 unless you plan on watching the temps the entire run.

but there is no easy solution to solved my problme.. if im going to update my gpu bios then it can damage my card.

format you pc then intall 11.8 CCC

And if you dont keep an eye on the temps you will have a housefire
