The new catalyst 15.7 driver seems to work pretty good on all systems. So far I've tested it on Windows 7, Windows 8, Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 15.04. No problems so far, even the speeds are OK.
The next oclHashcat release (v1.37) will support it, but this time oclHashcat will not force the user to use a specific catalyst version. The changes we made enables the user to choose any catalyst he wants (starting from 14.9).

Thanks, atom, been wanting to upgrade my drivers, glad we finally have a version that does not impact performance.
