but when i use oclHashcat v0.25 in Ubuntu 10.10.
just one hd5970 work , why?
and the speed of one hd5970 in Ubuntu 10.10 is 300M(in the condition of -m 300) slower than in Win7 .
should two cards do a firecross?

fix your driver installation to get 2nd hd5970 working. do not enable crossfire.

disable crossfire
aticonfig --adapter=all --initial
export DISPLAY=:0 (if you are on ssh)
Best
-J

I had the similar problem and the above steps worked for me. If you have any other problems after trying the above let the forums know.
