Hello i was use the HD 7970 card and Windows 7 64bit SP1 (latest patches) and hashcat 64bit.
I had for a single md5 speed about 8.400 and now after formating the pc and use all the same software i get half speed 4.700 about
Maybe i am using a wong command or something?
Any help please?
Or please send me a command that will produce the 8.400 speed so i can test it on my card...
I use latest stable catalyst 2.8.
Thank you

you cannot always get full performance out of plus. to quote atom, "dude! you have to give it work!" speeds can vary greatly depending on what exactly you are doing.
that said, i think you were a bit mistaken about the speed. with plus and single md5 hash, you can only get ~ 6 G/s max out of a 7970. you can get ~ 8 G/s out of lite, though.
try the following and see if you don't get full performance. should be around 6 G/s.
Code:
--force -n 160 --gpu-loops 1024 11111111111111111111111111111111 -a 3 ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a

Now i get 6.500 using your command
Can you please point me to the correct command for hashcatlite for single MD5 lowercase and numbers max 10 characters so i can test it?
Thank you

Try changing load n - xxx and also maybe before you used something like msi afterburner or overclocked your card with amd tools?

I guess he tried with oclHashat-lite since it makes 8400 on 7970 and now he tries with oclHashcat-plus which is ofc slower.

Yes now i can get 8.700 again using the Asus direct CU II 1000Mhz edition HD 7970 card with oclHashat-lite
But i can't get the correct syntax to bruteforce a vbulletin v4 hash on oclHashat-lite
C:\hashcatlite>oclHashcat-lite64.exe -m 2711 --outfile-format=3 --gpu-temp-abort
=90 --pw-min=1 --pw-max=8 -1 ?l?d <removed>:w'ElRCU9I%t'}
u>0'ZtQtc=7F&+#~j ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1
'+#~j' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
User Undeath recommend me to you have to properly escape or quote the salt but how?

Use a file instead, then you dont need to escape

Can you please provide me the correct command to do this?

The reason to do this is not do use a command, to avoid the shell to interpret some of the special chars in your salt. So copy/paste the hash into a Textfile and save it and then use the textfile-name instead of the hash.

Can you please help me with the syntax to load the hash from a file on hashlite?
I don't know how to use the textfile-name ...
I got only this for plus:
oclHashcat-plus64.exe C:/hashes.txt -m 0 C:/wordlist/list1.txt
C:\hashcat>oclHashcat-plus64.exe C:/hashes.txt -m 10 C:/wordlist/list1.txt
WARNING: Hash 'C:/hashes.txt': Line-length exception
ERROR: No hashes loaded
The hash that i use is md5 salted using password: power
