nvidia gtx 970M / The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali)

I am new to hashcat and am having a heck of a time getting it to work on The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) rolling. Just wanted to stop in and see if anyone here could point me in the right direction. Here is what I have tried. 

Using a handshake file converted to hccap:

hashcat -m 2500 -a 0 test.hccap /root/Wordlists/wd1.txt

Result: 

ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs()  :  -1  :  CL_DEVICE_NOT_FOUND
