There's another nice example! The hash-mode has also influence:

Quote:$ ./hashcat --keyspace -a 3 ?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d -m 0
100000
$ ./hashcat --keyspace -a 3 ?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d -m 400
