Hello my cryptographer friends! I have never tried breaking any passwords other than taking guesses and giving up quickly. I was never any good with math hence I never developed a love for it.
With the introductions out of the way I just built a new desktop with some respectable hardware in it so I've decided to put it to the test! I want to try and use Hashcat coupled with a 5060ti CUDA enabled GPU to see how long it takes to guess my Wifi password. I notice on the back of my router that it only uses lowercase letters and numbers. There are 11 characters total.
How to tell Hashcat (or whatever program) to take a guess at all combinations possible using only lowercase letters and numbers 0-9?
