Hi, I am completely new to this and I'm here because I have forgotten some of the password to my VeraCrypt hidden volume, I know the first 14 of 20 characters and I know the charset for the remaining 6. I don't remember what algorithm or hash was used in the encryption. I read something about needing to extract the header for the VeraCrypt hidden volume but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help me to understand the steps I need to go through and how to construct the command to run hashcat?
