New AMD drivers are out. 12.3
Maybe they support oclhacat-plus on 79XX?

Yes and no. AMD's OpenCL JIT compiler crashes while compiling specific kernels with catalyst 12.3, for example IPB2. The leaked 12.4 works much better, but is not that fast. I hope final 12.4 will include the best of both...
