Hi, I would like to get some advice for building a hashcat rig with 8 GPUs instead of using local system.

Of course the RTX3090 would be preferrable but having economy as a parameter will remove that option.
Have been trying to get some ideas reading the forum if the Ti card is better than the normal, but didnt really find a good answer. I might have done bad searches, therefore this question Smile

So 3060 with 12G or 3060Ti with 8G, same with the 3070/Ti...?
Any tips is welcome

I suggest Ti in every way! Much faster effective speed.

In case you didn't read it already I highly recommend https://passwordvillage.org/hardware.html#rig_setup before anything else.

IMO it's really hard to build a decent 8 GPU system these days (mainly due to unavailability of blower style cards). You are probably better off with two 4 GPU systems.

Yes, those cards seems hard to find, but the rig is equipped with alot of fans to move warm air away
Is it possible distribute workload to two rigs?
