Why hash performance varies from hash mode to hash mode

I saw benchmark on a6000 gpu (link : https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-10061.html)

but I have a one question

hash mode 1720 sha512 has 2846.6 MH/s speed

and hash mode 13732 veracrypt has 189 H/s speed

why they make this different?
