Blockchain v1 and v0 wallets are almost the same. Hashcat works on v1 but hashcat does not works on blockchain v0 wallets. A lot of time could be save if we can differentiate which one is blockchain v1 or v0.
How to differentiate between blockchain v1 and v0 wallets.

Hi jerson
Hashcat does not work on v1 wallets, it will just run them without finding the password. I have tested this multiple times myself, it may work with the given 'test' wallet v1 included in hashcat but it doesnt find the correct password for other v1.

Anyone who can help with this? How much your price to make hashcat works on v0 and v1 blockchain wallets.

It has been posted many times but it seems it is hard or no one is interested.

If no option specified it will run the round 1 then 10 rounds. Hi, Sorry little confused are you offering a suggestion for the future update? Or does this work for you on hashcat Thanks

Actually hashcat works on some v1 wallets. Its hard to tell why some pass some dont. We have cracked over 150 blockchain wallets and there seem to be many different versions that are undocumented as blockchain.info changed the fornat qithout documenting their github. |
