Trying to get into an encrypted drive on my PC

I'm trying to get onto an encrypted drive on my PC, but I'm horrendously bad at using hash cat. 

I think I managed to run a bunch of passwords on it, but I'm not even really sure about that. I used the following command and I couldn't decipher the output. It was each line on the wordlist followed by "`$`\r`" without quotes. 

cat wordlist.TXT | xargs -t -p `nproc` -i echo {} | cryptsetup --verbose --test-passphrase open /dev/nvme0n1p3 mountpoin

if anyone could at least tell me if this command works, or how I'm supposed to interpret it's output that would be a massive help.

for more context, I'm doing this work on The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali), and the encrypted drive is using POP OS.

I'm unsure if the password list I used has the password for my PC, it's derived from what I think the password could be followed by the 3 characters in it that I don't know. Ultimately it's not a powerful password.

It's 13243546??? with question marks indicating the characters I don't know. I may need to make a more powerful password list.

I think running a brute force attack that excludes more of the alphabet would be the most effective way to get in if anyone could tell me hoe to do that.

The first two ? characters are very likely an uppercase and lowercase J, I don't know the last numbers, and I'm not 100% positive that the first 8 letters are the only numbers. Basically the password could be 1324354657???

I unfortunately don't know how to code this. So all help would be highly appreciated.
