can I just check something with you please ?

On Blandy's site you say this...

Quote:When you add more dictionaries x100 files to 80 MB, hashcat not start brute. Maximum dictionary 14. When adding 14 dictionaries for 1GB, hashcat falls with error ERROR: cuMemcpyDtoH () 999. Please fix.

You are saying here that it is oclhashcat-plus which has this problem for you.

Can you please confirm which is which ?

Thanks.

Sorry. This is really oclHashcat-plus v0.12. When the dictionary more x100 program opens and immediately closes. When the dictionary for x14 1GB begins brute, and after a few minutes the error falls cuMemcpyDtoH () 999

Thank you for confirming that you meant oclhashcat-plus.

I see your new ticket, thanks for taking the time to report it. I am sure atom will reply to it soon.

Slightly off-topic but is having so many dictionaries a good idea ? Unless you have very carefully separated them I suspect you may be checking my 1000's of duplicate passwords.

If you don't have a specific reason for the separation, I suggest you merge a few of them and remove the duplicates and so save yourself a lot of cracking time. Smile
