Yep, that's the driver that's been floating around.
It's generally needed to toy with 3.2 release toolkit/sdk. 'Course, I measured even more performance drop with 263.xx than with 260.xx on multiple hashes. It looks like the more the hashes, the severe the loss is. However, it seems NOT to affect GTX 580.

Personally, the only reason I don't get rid of all my nvidia cards (6 total + 4@office) is because of the needed CUDA/Fermi support in some of the video encoding applications I use, PLUS licensed copy of EGB which is also very handy. I wish Nvidia would support the missing hardware operation from ATI's cards ffs so I can finally stay with one brand (no headaches). Despite that, I will probably be selling/trading most of my nvidias for the exciting 6990 MONSTER

6990 indeed looks amazing from what info has leaked.
It'll be cool in AMD wont introduce new bugs in it, and it will work with OpenCL without glitching. |
