Is RAR3-hp cracking speed right? I remember Titan X is just around 30kH/s.
seems ur right its way higher than nvidia series.

I'm just using hashcat 3 which I think puts a particular work profile on by default making the cards work harder whereas using v2.01 I'd have to set gpu-accel & gpu-loops to something else to make it work harder.
I've just ran the WPA/WPA2 test again using just the RX480,
Hashtype: WPA/WPA2
Speed.Dev.#1.: 185.8 kH/s (98.70ms)

what settings would you use for gpu-accel & gpu-loops out of curiosity

its indeed an issue on older mobos,

Here's my results, RX480 8GB reference card, running on a macpro 5,1 under windows 10.
AMD Driver version 16.20.1035.1001-160708a-304447E
OpenCL Version 2.0.6.0
I've omitted build logs for algorithms which failed to compile.

So it's like a 290X but with even greater risk of catching your house on fire. Cool.

Eh, the card's been rock-stable for me, both in terms of temp and not crashing, but my system is pretty nonstandard. The power rails for PCIE aux come off the mobo, and I'm pretty sure they share a common rail with the PCIE slots themselves, and are way overengineered.

Thanks for the info.. it preformed quite good on most of em, this however feels a bit strange. (wpa result). or a bit low
Im running with an R9 Nitro 380x and im getting around 145-150kH/s (depending on drivers and hashcat version)and i have a friend with a 290x that gets around 190kH/s + . im surprised about this performance drop on wpa2, i would have hoped it would be somewhere between 290 and 290x. but looking at its preformance the numbers will be somewhere between 380x and 390

I am using a Sapphire R9 380 8gb but only getting:
86939 H/s
So your figures seem to be dramatically better with much older and slower cards. Is there a config tweek you guys are using?
That cant be right.. i using a "Sapphire R9 Nitro 380x 4gb" and im almost doubling the speed you have. i got around 145-150kH/s
