salt length limitation

Hi there,

I cannot find the salt length limit ?
I have some salt that are 48 chars, is that the prob that I'm facing ?

absolutly. depending on the algorithm, maximum salt length can range from 15 to 31.

Thanks a lot atom,

Do you plan to increase it in the future (some webapps already implement salt of 40 or more) ?
Even if we loose in term of perf, it would be interested to at least try it.
