2x Nvidia for opencl - SLI link necessary?

Hi,

as the thread subject already shows. I will put 2x 1070 into my system - not for gaming. Do I still need to get a SLI link cable or is this not necessary for opencl applications like hashcat etc?

Not necessary - in fact, definitely do not use SLI with hashcat.
