btw it doesn't always make sense to use both devices for 2 reasons: the CPU is most of the time much slower (except for a few hash types), if you keep the CPU very busy it could mean that the GPU doesn't get enough work (depending on attack mode etc) if the CPU can't provide enough data if the CPU is busy itself.
