Hey, I'm new to this and need some advice. I have a 7z and want to get the p/w which I forgot. It may have had numbers, letters, caps, other characters !${] and the like. What is the best approach?

If so, you can try hashcat/src/combipow Check the hashcat wiki. You can pipe the output directly into hashcat. But maybe we should start different: Do you know how long your password is? Can you list all possible characters which have been used? Do you the encoding / your language settings? Can you surely place known characters on specific position of the password? Kind regards centurio |
