I know you need the Catalyst but any plans to integrate the new mesa drivers to work with hashcat-oclplus later versions? The new 3.11 kernel offers great support for Radeon Drivers and GPU.

I may be wrong, but rendering graphics has nothing to do with OpenCL code.
Also, in my opinion, the hard way is not the best way.

yeah, i think he's confusing OpenGL for OpenCL.
however, there is GalliumCompute, which does provide a very simple OpenCL implementation, but it can only be described as "alpha" at best. http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/GalliumCompute/

Yea I just stuck to the Catalyst works great.
