OpenCL on mesa
#1
Hey guys, I have one, hopefully simple question. Why not to support OpenCL on Mesa aside to/instead of Catalyst ?
#2
Is it stable/complete enough to bother yet?
#3
Since pyrit works with Mesa's implementation of OpenCL, I think so. But this is question for hashcat devs.
#4
That's very interesting, I thought it was less mature. Do you know anything about performance vs. vendor drivers?
#5
Gallium - GPGPU - ArchWiki

According to this link, you can see 20% performance gain on WPA with Mesa, comparing to Catalyst 13.11 Beta1.
#6
Hey, people ! Are you gonna answer my question ?
#7
No, because this isnt the right place. If you want support for something, you put it on trac with your supporting documentation, and wait to see if it will get implemented.
