Hello I a begginer with hashcat and tried to decrypt a vb hash but I was not able to get any result. I have tried it with several ways (worldlists etc.) as example:
Code:
hashcat64.exe -m2611 -a3 -o cr.txt Test.txt list.lst
but still no success. My question is...my has looks like this :
Code:
732xxxd6a4bxxxe1502exxxxe4d8cxxf:>xy
Could somebody help me pls with it? Thanks.
Sorry if I am in the wrong section.

There is no "decrypt" with hashes.
If the plaintext isn't in the candidates it won't be found.

Is there an other way to handle it? I tried already over 200gb of lists and got no result.

So now try again with 200GB of lists + rules this time.

Tryed it with the dive rule...but is it normal that it would take more than 5 days?

Have you even looked at the info on the status screen? How many words in your wordlists? Multiplied by how many rules? At how many hashes per second?
Now multiply/divide as appropriate.
5 days is being kind.

No, only if you have a large hashlist with alot of salt. Try with a single one, should be faster. Pick a good one.
