So I am having issues when trying to brute force wpa2. Commands I used are hashcat.exe -m 2500 -a 3 wpa2.hccapx ?l?l?l?l?l?l?l?l , hashcat.exe -m 2500 -a 3 wpa2.hccapx ?d?d?d?d?d?d?d?d , and hashcat.exe -m 2500 -a 3 wpa2.hccapx ?a?a?a?a?a?a?a?a . I'm testing on a personal wifi with passwords I created. Tried an 8 digit password with just numbers, an 8 digit password with lowercase letters and an 8 digit password with both lower case and uppercase letters plus numbers and everytime hashcat gives me an illegal memory access error and freezes my system. I have no issues with dictionary attacks tho. And have the latest drivers and Cuda tools installed. Using Nvidia gtx 1080 ti. Also did a fresh install of windows and drivers to test.
