Hashcat Does not Work on Blockchain V1 wallets or 12700 code

I tried on 5 real blockchain v1 wallets it does not work. Btcrecover can find the password but hashcat cannot. The example hash is not a real blockchain v1 wallet. The real blockchain v1 wallets has more than 1 iteration. The example hash has 1 iteration only. The whole 12700 code does not work at all.

It is likely that your hashes are not hashcat readable. Have you checked on the example hash mode 12700?

I tried that but that is not a real blockchain v1 wallet. Give me a real blockchain v1 wallet that hashcat work.

Incorrect requirement.
You need to provide real wallet+password that hashcat can't find.

P. S. Your example from https://github.com/hashcat/hashcat/issues/3696 is working properly. Maybe you just can't use hashcat?

Thank you. But Hashcat still not works on Blockchain wallets created from 2011 to February, 2012. I tested it even using the --base64 option on blockchain2john.py.

Did you manage this?

https://hashes.com/en/johntheripper/blockchain2john

thats a online extract script which I believe extracts it properly

Hi, again, after running a couple tests I can confirm the -m 12700 for the blockchain v1 wallets does not currently work.

I tried with my old wallet that is 100% from 2013 and a v1 wallet and it doesnt find the pass.

Hopefully an admin will fix/update the problem for us
