is that hashes or plain text pw?

Apologies. The source where I found this this said passwords but this actually only contains SHA1 hashes of the MySpace passwords.
Still good for practising though as SHA1 is a fast hash....

Not really, since the passwords were heavily modified before being hashed (at least for the unsalted hashes, anyway).
There are plenty more HQ leaks to practice and test your attacks on.

was cracking by the million...seems fairly plain SHA1 to me.
