This App Cant Run On Your PC - Help

Hello Everyone.

This is my first time trying to use a product like this. Long story short I got locked out of my crypto wallet and I am trying to get back in. 
I've download hashcat and followed multiple tutorials. I think I am now at the stage were I am ready to try and crack some hashes but every time I try to run the app via CMD I get the "This app cant run on your PC" error message.
I've tried multiple fixes.

• Editing my profile security settings (lowering)
  
• Downloading windows ADK and installing application compatibility tools 
  
• Ticking compatibility mode on the app properties 
  
• Attempted to find the file in the compatibility administrator launcher but wasn't able to find it. 
  

Does anyone know how I can get past this screen please?

Sounds to me like your trying to run hashcat on a 32-bit machine. If thats the case, you could try with the precvious version (5.1.0), since it includes a 32-bit executable. Its available here: https://hashcat.net/files/hashcat-5.1.0.7z

Thanks for the reply. Im using 64bit PC  This has got me so puzzled lol.

Is it work me trying to run on a Linux VM instead? or will this impact the performance too much?

Solved - I think I corrupted something and did not clear it down properly after uninstalling. I went back and deleted all traces and re-installed and it worked. Thank you.
