New build with Titan X
#1
Hi Build Experts!

Please let me know what you think of the following hardware for a new build. I'm considering bying this next week - but am I doing something wrong?

1 x Corsair AX1500i PSU (1500W)
4 x MSI NTITAN X 12GD5 - GF GTX TITAN X 12 GB
1 x MSI Z97 GAMING 5
1 x Intel Core i7 4790K / 4 GHz
2 x Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 8 GB 2400 MHz
1 x Samsung 850 EVO MZ-75E500 - SSD 500 GB - SATA 6Gb/s
1 x Chenbro 19 4HE RM41300G EEB (RM41300-FS81)

Also, I'm not sure it's a reference card?

But gpuzoo says it is:

Any help appreciated - thank you in advance!

hmm, where You want put 4 gpu -> this mobo got only 3 pcie with 2 gap between them

I have some PCIe risers and I'd use one for the last card - not sure how to place it in the chassis though. First 4 GPU card build for me. Any recommendations?

plz consider this mobo:

Risers can be use ONLY in open case, if You want "normal" pc with normal case there will be no place for use risers

Thank you Szulik, that makes total sense. Do you know if the graphics card is a reference card BTW?

Regarding the MB, would the MSI Z97 XPOWER AC board be just as good? (a bit cheaper and available from the dealer I'm considering to get it all from).

Yes, the GPU you linked to above is reference design.

This MSI board is E-ATX format, case what You suggest accept mobo format: ATX, EEB. This fact make create some issue when You try put mobo in case

According to the link below, the chassis should support Extended ATX (12”x13”). Am I missing something?

Thank you again!
