Hi, I have the same issue with an old Word file for a school assignment.
It's also with PBKDF2/AES pw protection.
Tried the same things LordJoker did, but couldn't recover. Can someone please help?

The Word document is in the zip file.
Do you know the length and possible marks used? lower case upper case? words? etc. If not breaking will be very difficult.
6 to 8 characters and yes, lower and upper case. Mostly start with a uppercase, Not sure here.
Forget brute force it will last for years.
