Does anyone have benchmarks for the GTX 1050, the GTX 1060, and the GTX 970 all in one place?
I am considering additional GPUs for my rig and these are priced low, relative to the 1070 and 1080, of course.
Is the GTX 1050 even a contender for running hashcat?
What is the current optimal setup in terms of cost and performance?

some 1070,1080,980,970,960,etc. benchmarks for WPA are here: http://www.crackingservice.com/?q=node/20
i personally wouldn't consider anything below 1070 but that is just my very personal humble opinion.

Note, these benchmarks were made on a very old hashcat version. Results may vary extremely to todays hashcat version.

Hi!
Pure performance of 1070 is higher than 1060 or 1050.
But performance/price ratio may be more important.
For example here is prices from my nearest pc-shop.
gtx 1060 cost 220 usd and gtx 1070 cost 460 usd.
So cheaper to get 2x1060 and get higher h/s rate than 1x1070 could get.
GTX 1060 benchmark is here https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-5674-po...l#pid30574
GTX 1070 benchmark is here https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-5440-post-30016.html#pid30016
both based on 3.0 version of hashcat.
It would be nice if someone could share GTX 1050 results!
Thanks!

I just installed a GTX 1050 Ti today. How do you guys share benchmark data? just hashcat -b and paste? Or do you include CPU and RAM info?
I'm cracking a WPA/WPA2 hash type right now at 112.8 kH/s on a 8 year old Dell Core 2 Duo at 2.13gHz.

How could you filter and save a session of following piped command followed (with -q 3 enclosed) Code: ./maskprocessor-master/src/mp64.bin -i 8:64 -1 ?l?u?d ?1?1?1?1?1?1?1?1 -s aaabVSF2|/home/hp/hashcat-3.6.0/hashcat64.bin -w 3 -m 2500 x.hccapx --force

I cannot confirm these prices. Te GTX1070 should start around 400 bucks. The 1060 is available in different specs, the 3GB version is ~10% slower than the 6GB version, which has been benchmarked.
Also, the GTX1060/1050 are only available with axial coolers, which makes putting two or more GPUs in one case not really a no-brainer.
